About Me

I am an artist and designer based in Calgary. I focus on fine art and textiles, specializing in silkscreen pattern printing and silk painting and dyeing. 

The textile patterns I create are rich with hand-drawn design and painterly techniques, drawing imagery from our environment, architecture and history. My dream is that my textiles will bring joie de vivre to the life of their owners.

Growing up in the forest of British Columbia’s interior and the foothills of Alberta's Rocky Mountains nurtured my love of nature. Add to that a family who loved art, music and craft, my passion for the arts was fuelled early. I completed a Bachelor of Fine Art with distinction majoring in Fibre earned from the Alberta College of Art + Design (AUARTS).

I am  also a board member of Contextural, a cooperative of fibre artists who exhibit at our annual Artisan Sale in November and collaborate to bring vitality to our community.
